Competed in two races for the Blazers...clocked in a 17:03.00 in her first collegiate 4k at the Auburn Invitational (Sept. 9)....finished her first collegiate 5k with a 20:33.00 at the Notre Dame Invite (Sept. 30).

Attended Spaulding High School ... coached by Dolores Owen ... two-time GHSA Class 4-AAA state title winner in the 800 meters in 2010 and 2011 ... finished fourth in the 1,600 meters as a senior ... selected by her high school as the most valuable player in cross country and track and field four-straight years ... placed eighth in the 1,500 meters at the AAU Junior Olympics in 2010 ... received her high school's Outstanding Freshman Award... earned the Wilma Rudolph Courage Award from the Georgia Women in Sports Organization.
