BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB women’s track & field team hosts the 2017 Conference USA Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships beginning Saturday, February 18, at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama. The meet will conclude Sunday night. UAB and CrossPlex are hosting the event for the sixth consecutive season.

C-USA Indoor Track & Field record book
The championship will begin at 9 a.m. CT on Saturday with the combined events, beginning with both the heptathlon and pentathlon. Jumps and throws will commence at 2 p.m. with running event preliminaries and finals starting at 4 p.m.
Sunday will see the rest of the heptathlon events completed at 9 a.m. followed by field events at 11 a.m. The day will conclude with the final running events at 1 p.m. and the awards presentation at 4:45 p.m.
The 2016 C-USA Indoor Track & Field Championship team was WKU with a score of 135, while the women's team champion was UTEP, which notched 120 points to clinch the title crown. Both programs repeated their 2015 titles.
Admission prices are as follows: a two-day pass is $20 for adults and $10 for youth (12-17); while a single day ticket $15 per day for adults and $6 for youth (12-17). Admission is FREE for children age 11 and under and for students with valid ID cards who attend a C-USA member institution.
