BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The UAB women's tennis team travels to Kennesaw State on Saturday for a 1 p.m. ET first serve against the Owls.
Saturday will mark the third attempt for the teams to play the match this season. Weather forced the postponement of the contest on both Feb. 14 and March 20.
The Blazers (9-9) are in the middle of a five-match road swing to close out the regular season. UAB is coming off a pair of losses last week to Memphis and Louisiana-Monroe. Despite the two team losses, junior Jenny Cape won both her singles contests to improve her record to a team-best 12-4 this spring.
Kennesaw State (12-10) has won its past four matches, including a 6-1 win over Mercer on Tuesday in its most recent outing. Saturday's match will be the final regular-season contest for the Owls.
After the Kennesaw State match, UAB will play next weekend at Rice and Houston before traveling to Tulsa, Okla., for the Conference USA Championships starting April 22.
