Spring 2006: Posted a 10-6 record in singles play, inlcuding a 4-0 mark at number four ... began the spring on the three-match win streak ... went 2-0 in doubles play with both wins coming while playing flight three.

Fall 2005: Placed fourth in flight "B" of the Middle Tennessee Fall Invitational, as she posted a 2-1 mark ... partnered with Belmont's Tatiana Pozo to place 11th in flight "A" doubles, going 1-2 in the event ... advanced to the third round of the flight "B" singles, going 2-1 overall, at the ITA Southern Regionals ... was fourth in flight 4 singles at the Seminole Classic.

Spring 2005: Was 14-6 on the season, with all matches at the No. 4 position ... tallied a perfect 5-0 Conference USA mark ... had a 10-match win steak from 2/13-3/17 ... partnered with Jana Wild for a 6-3 doubles record, all at the No. 3 slot ... the duo tallied a four-match win steak during the season as well.

Fall 2004: Finished the season with a 5-1 overall singles record ... started off with wins at the UTC Baras Fall Classic over Jeanne De Wet of Tennessee-Martin 6-1, 6-3 and Lind Johnasson of Belmont 6-1, 6-1 ... won Draw "C" at the Middle Tennessee Invitational with wins over Katie Rhodes of Belmont 3-6, 7-5, 10-2 and Claire Conely of Ole Miss 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 ... was 1-2 with two different doubles partners ... she and Seden Soyalp defeated Kell/Caffey of Western Kentucky in the Middle Tennessee Invitational, 8-0.

Spring 2004: UAB's strongest player, posting a 17-6 overall record ... played all matches in the No. 6 slot ... also recorded a 7-2 mark in conference action ... won 11 of her last 12 completed matches of the season ... was 16-10 with three different doubles partners, including a 15-4 record with teammate Nadia Dellarciprete in the No. 3 position.

Fall 2003: Did not compete.

Pre-UAB: Played her prep career at Bunsen-Gymnasium Heidelberg ... eight-time winner of the Bezirksmeisterin Regional singles tournament ... earned first-place honors in both the team and doubles competitions at the prestigious Badische Meistersdapten competition ... added a third-place singles finish at the Badische Meistersdapten tournament ... took first place at Frankfurt, Germany singles competition.

Personal: Daughter of Nighat and Ahmed Tanzeem ... born on May 6, 1984, in Heidelberg, Germany ... has one older brother, Salman and an older sister, Nadine ... majoring in management.
