BIMRINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB softball team will get its 2008 fall schedule underway when it competes in the second annual Tera Ross Memorial Tournament hosted by Jacksonville State. The one-day tournament is on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Oxford Softball Complex in Jacksonville, Ala.

The Blazers will play three games in the one-day tournament, beginning at 11:00 a.m. against Wallace State Hanceville. They will then face Gadsden State at 12:30 p.m. before wrapping up the day against Bevill State at 3:30 p.m. Admission to the tournament is $5 for the entire day.

The Blazers will continue their fall season the following week with a doubleheader versus Jefferson State and Alabama Southern on Oct. 3. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at George Ward Park.
