-Became the first Blazer in program history to be professionally drafted as she was selected ninth overall by the Dallas Charge in the 2016 National Pro Fastpitch Draft
-Named finalist for the 2016 Senior CLASS Award, earning First-Team Senior CLASS All-American Honors

-Turned in the eighth-highest average in a single season with a .356 clip, ranking 12th-highest in the conference. Attfield finished with four of the top eight averages in program’s single-season history.
-Knocked 69 hits, tying her mark in 2013 for the fifth-most in a single season and ranking sixth-highest in the league
- Finish just shy of Martina Landrum’s run scored mark of 47 as the senior plated 41 runs in 2016, third most in school history.
- Slugged at a .418 clip with six doubles and three triples, tied for fourth-most in the conference and plated 11 RBIs
-Started all 59 contests at shortstop with 58 starts in the leadoff position
-Led the team with 21 multi-hit contests, turning in four three-hit games and tied the program’s single-game record with one four-hit performance
-Strung together a 10-game hitting string, the second-longest on the squad.
-Record hits in 43 of the Blazers’ 59 contests this season
-Led UAB in batting average (.356), on-base percentage (.424), runs scored (41), hits (69), triples (3), stolen bases (13), at-bats (194) and assists (104)
-Went 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored against No. 13 Missouri on Feb. 20
-Recorded three hits, scoring one run on March 2 at Samford
-In the Blazers’ first conference victory, the shortstop knocked three hits, plating two RBIs and scoring a run as UAB topped Southern Miss, 6-3, on March 19
- Plated a career-high four RBIs on three hits, scoring a run in UAB’s series-clinching victory over the 49ners, 9-2, on March 26
-Tied UAB’s single-game hits record, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs scored on April 5 leading UAB to its 500th program victory by topping Jacksonville State, 6-3
-At the Conference USA Championship Semifinals on May 13, Attfield went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate against No. 22 Florida Atlantic, scoring two runs

- Selected by league coaches as 2015 Conference USA Player of the Year, the first athlete in program history to receive the honor

- Went 2-for-3 with two RBI vs. Mississippi State (Feb. 24), including the game-winning, walk-off RBI double in extra innings
- Went 3-for-4 with three runs scored vs. Harvard (Feb. 21)
- Had three hits in each win over Wisconsin (Feb. 14-15), including a double and two RBI in game one
- Had three RBI and a double on 3-for-4 hitting against Appalachian State (Feb. 6)

- Scored the game-winning run in UAB's 7-6 win against Ball State on March 12, a doubleheader where she finished 6-for-8 with three RBI, two runs and two stolen bases
- Named UAB's Student Athlete of the Week on Feb. 19
- Named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

- Earned the league's Freshman of the Year honor and named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team

- Drove in the game-tying run in the bottom of the 11th inning of UAB's 3-2 win over UCLA, which advanced the Blazers to face Florida in the Super Regionals
- Finished the year with 192 at-bats, 38 runs scored, 11 RBI, a .431 OBP, and .949 fielding percentage.
