Jeannette Croce enters her third season as an assistant coach on the UAB women's soccer coaching staff. Croce became a member of the UAB women's soccer coaching staff in the spring of 2005. She comes to Birmingham from Barry University in Miami Shores, Fla., where she served as a volunteer assistant coach while pursing a masters degree in sports management and business administration. During the fall of 2002, she was the assistant coach at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich.
Croce, a native of Naperville, Ill., was a standout at DePaul from 1997-2000, garnering All-Conference USA honors in 1997. She is second all-time in DePaul history in career goals scored with 14 and ranks third in points with 35. She also served as team captain during the 1999 and 2000 seasons.
Croce's main responsibilities at UAB will include overseeing equipment, budget, and travel, as well as digital match analysis and on-field coaching. She will also be involved in other aspects such as recruiting, team management, fund-raising, alumni affairs, academic progress and camp administration.
