Women's Golf Ready For C-USA Championship

Caitlin Watts leads the Blazers with a 79.55 scoring average this season.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB women’s golf team begins the 2013 Conference USA Women’s Golf Championship with 18 holes on Monday at the Peninsula Golf Club in Gulf Shores, Ala.

The championship consists of 54 holes over three days, with the winner receiving an automatic berth to the NCAA Champoinships.

UAB will play with Marshall in the first round, they will tee off from hole No. 10 starting at 8:35 a.m. CDT.

Competing for UAB will be Caitlin Watts, Jessica Rouillard, Holly Robinson, Jaime Ritter and Amanda Richey.

Following Monday’s opening round at the Peninsula Golf Club, the championship will resume with 18 holes on Tuesday and the final round on Wednesday. Live scoring of this year's C-USA Women's Golf Championship will be provided by Golfstat.
