GULF SHORES, Ala. - The UAB women's golf team ended its season with a 10th place finish at the Conference USA Women's Golf Championship played at the Peninsula Golf Club in Gulf Shores, Ala. Caitlin Watts carded the low score for the Blazers with a three-round total of 236.
Watts went out with a one-under par 35 thanks to birdies on the par-five second hole and the par-three eighth. She finished with a six-over par 42 on her back nine to end with a 77 and finish in tie for 35th place.
Jaime Ritter, Jessica Rouillard and Holly Robinson each fired rounds of nine-over par 81 to finish the tournament at 241, 250 and 252, respectively. Amanda Richey, who shot an 85 in the final round, finished at 253 for the event.
Tulane won the team competition with a three-round total of 877. East Carolina and UCF finished in second and third place with scores of 904 and 905, respectively.
East Carolina's Nico Engstroem Skaug, Tulane's Gemma Dryburgh and SMU's Felicia Espericueta finished in a tie for first place after regulation at 220 (+4).
