UAB' Margaret Yeh improved by three strokes in Monday's second round.

ATLANTA ---- UAB's women's golf team is now tied for 14th place following Monday's second round at the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate, which is being played at the Eagle's Landing Country Club.
The Blazers, who entered the day in 10th place, fell four spots even though they improved by three strokes as a team. UAB shot a 323 on Sunday and followed with a 320 on Monday.
On top of the leaderboard is host-school Georgia State, which has fired a team total 588 through two rounds. Currently, the Blazers are tied in 14th place with Rollins College and lead South Dakota, which is in 16th place.
Individually, UAB was led by senior Caitlin Watts and her six-over par, 78 performance. Watts is now in a tie for 31st place heading into Wednesday's final round. Margaret Yeh improved by three strokes on Tuesday, shooting a seven-over par, 79.
