BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB women's basketball team sets its sights on win No. 4 as the squad hosts Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Monday at 7 p.m. CT.
The Blazers, who are 3-1 on the season, return to Bartow Arena for the second-straight game against a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff comes into the contest at 1-2 on the year with the Lions' losses coming at Kansas State (89-55) and at Alabama (79-60).
Monday's matchup will be the final game before UAB heads to the Thanksgiving Classic on Friday and Saturday at Samford.

Monday's meeting is just the second game all-time between UAB and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The Blazers won the previous contest, 85-57, on Dec. 19, 1998.
Senior guard Kelsie Weynand has scored two-straight career highs after her 14-point performance against Vanderbilt last Thursday and her 18-point putout against Mississippi Valley State on Monday. Against the Devilettes, Weynand hit 4-for-9 from behind the arc and jumpstarted the come-from-behind victory.
Three Blazers Average Double Figures
Seniors Amber Jones and Kelsie Weynand team with junior Karisma Chapman to lead the Blazers in scoring this season. Jones paces UAB with a 16 points-per-game average, while Chapman scores 12.3 points per contest and Weynand averages 10.3 points per game.
In keeping with last year's record-breaking performance, the 2012-13 edition of the Blazer defense is holding opponents to 37-percent shooting from the field, while teams are averaging 55.8 points per game against UAB.
