BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Fans will be able to listen to UAB women’s basketball games on the radio for free this season. All 2013-14 homes games will be broadcast, along with select road games. 

The broadcast will be online at UABsports.com for each game. Fans can tune in to 16 home games during the 2013-14 season. UAB will host non-conference games against Lipscomb, Samford, Arizona, High Point, George Mason and Vanderbilt. Then Conference USA home games include UTEP, Middle Tennessee, FIU, Charlotte, East Carolina, UTSA, Tulane and Rice.

The Blazers will open the season this coming Monday, Oct. 28 with an exhibition game against Georgia Southwestern. The game is slated to tip off at 7 p.m. CT and has been designated as Haunted Hoops, which will feature Halloween activities.
