David Zimmerman and his teammates face two foes in matches this weekend.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB men's tennis team will play its fourth consecutive ranked opponent and fifth in seven matches this season when the Blazers travel to Nashville, Tenn. to take on No. 43 Middle Tennessee.
Friday's 4 p.m. match against the future fellow Conference USA member Blue Raiders will be the first of two duals the Blazers (2-4) will play this weekend at the Nashboro Village indoor facility. UAB will also go against the Yale Bulldogs Saturday at 1 p.m.
UAB is coming off a 5-2 loss to No. 45 Alabama Wednesday at Tuscaloosa in a match that the Blazers captured the doubles point. The Blazers also have dropped matches to No. 51 Arkansas, No. 22 Auburn and No. 28 Florida State.
The UAB wins have come over Florida A&M and Florida Gulf Coast.
Middle Tennessee comes into Friday's match with a 4-2 record. The Blue Raiders defeated Tulane last Saturday in their most recent action.
Yale is 3-0 on the season but will playing away from home for the first time this season. The Bulldogs have posted wins over Quinnipiac, Fairfield and Sacred Heart.
