BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The UAB men's tennis team is back in action Wednesday as the Blazers travel to Tuscaloosa to take on the No. 45-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.

The match at the Alabama Tennis Stadium will start at 1:00 p.m. CT.

Alabama represents the third consecutive ranked opponent for the Blazers and the fourth in the first six matches of the season. UAB (2-3) has posted wins over Florida A&M and Florida Gulf Coast and dropped matches to No. 28 Florida State, No. 51 Arkansas and No. 22 Auburn.

The Blazers will play another ranked team Friday when they take on 43rd-ranked Middle Tennessee in Nashville, Tenn.

UAB's most recent match was a 6-1 loss to Auburn Sunday in Birmingham. Alabama comes into Wednesday's match with a 6-1 record.
