Fall 2006: Enjoyed a productive fall season as Blazers' only senior roster ... compiled a singles record of 9-6 ... reached finals of "B" division singles at UTC Baras Fall Classic ... won four matches at UTC tournament before falling to Tim Mittiga of UTC ... had 9-4 mark in doubles with Thomas Weiss ... duo won Florida State Invitational "B" flight doubles title with a 4-0 record ... also started the season impressively in doubles as he and Weiss combined to reach semifinals.

Spring 2006: In first spring season with the Blazers, Despotovski held down No. 6 singles position for majority of campaign ... compiled a singles mark of 9-5 during spring ... had four-match win streak at No. 6 singles during spring with wins over Kovacevic (Cal-Riverside), Young (Cal Poly), Dobson (Cal-Irvine) and Lousau (Southeastern Louisiana) ... won four of first five matches during dual season ... saw limited action in doubles during the season.

Fall 2005: Enrolled at UAB last August after transferring from Barton County (Kan.) Community College ... made immediate impact with the Blazers with wins in his first two matches of the fall over Zimmer of Arizona and Bryce of Samford at Crimson Tide Fall Invitational.

Barton County Community College: Had outstanding two-year career at Barton where he helped lead the Cougars to back-to-back top 10 finishes in the final NJCAA team rankings ... as a sophomore in 2005, he finished the season ranked No. 15 in singles nationally and No. 5 in doubles (with Laurent Croise) ... was ranked No. 1 in doubles in preseason rankings (with Loic Hereson) ... helped lead Barton to No. 6 ranking in final 2005 team poll ... as a freshman in 2004, Despotovski ranked No. 22 in singles and No. 8 in doubles (with Simon Thornewell) in final ITA individual rankings ... in October of 2004, he teamed with Hereson to win ITA National Doubles Small College Championship ... played No. 2 singles both of years at Barton and was part of No. 1 doubles team.
