Clemente is joined on the league's first team all-conference team by senior defender Rumbani Munthali. Roberto Najarro and Houston Smith were both named third team All-C-USA. Marin Pusek was named to the all-freshman team.

The Blazers, 14-4-2, will play Washington in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, Friday at 9 p.m. CST, in Seattle, Wash.

Clemente, from Brompton, Ontario, Canada is on pace to set UAB's season and career average for goals against. His season average is 1.03 goals against. That is the lowest of all C-USA goalkeepers who have played in at least 10 matches. Clemente has a career average of 1.24.

This season Clemente recorded four solo shutouts and one shared shutout. For his career he has 17 solo shutouts and has taken part in 23 total shutouts. This season Clemente has 75 saves.

Munthali, from Etobicoke, Ontario, earned first-team all-league honors for the second straight year. The league has honored him each year at UAB. He won freshman of the year his first year and was second team all-league as a sophomore. He and Clemente are two of the main reasons the Blazers allowed just 1.1 goals against and allowed just 9.6 shots against per match.

Smith and Najarro are both senior midfielders. Smith is from Mountain Brook and Najarro from Marerro, La. Smith scored one goal and had three assists. Najarro scored two goals and dished out four assists.

Pusek, from Brampton, Ontario, played in 18 of the team's 20 games as a freshman. He scored one goal and had an assist.

Saint Louis took two of the league's top awards. Sophomore forward Jack Jewsbury was named Player of the Year and Brad Davis, Freshman of the Year. Memphis head coach Richie Grant is the league's Coach of the Year.CONFERENCE USA MEN'S SOCCER AWARDS
