2013 Conference USA Tournament Bracket

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – All 10 men’s soccer-playing members of Conference USA concluded league play on Saturday night, setting the stage for the seven-team conference tournament. The No. 17 UAB men’s soccer team earned the third seed and will face host-Charlotte, the sixth seed, on Wednesday night in the quarterfinals.

UAB finished the regular season with 16 points in conference play, good enough for third place. The Blazers owned a 5-3-1 mark in Conference USA action.

The UAB men’s soccer team is seeking its second Conference USA Tournament title in program history. The Blazers came out on top in 1999.

New Mexico won the 2013 Conference USA regular season title, finishing with 22 points in league play. Old Dominion was one point behind in second place. South Carolina, Tulsa, Charlotte, and Kentucky complete the tournament field, respectively.

UAB will begin postseason play on Wednesday against Charlotte. The two teams are scheduled to kickoff at 8 p.m. ET at Charlotte’s Transamerica Field.
