BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – For the second straight week, the UAB men’s soccer team is ranked No. 10 in the NSCAA/Continental Tire Poll, as announced on Tuesday. This marks the fourth time in 2013 that UAB has appeared in the top 10 of the coaches’ poll.

Following its 2-1 victory against the College of Charleston on Friday, Oct. 25, UAB moved up five spots in the latest Soccer America Poll. The Blazers are now ranked No. 17 according to the Soccer America Rankings.

In addition, for the third consecutive week, UAB owns the highest scoring offense in the nation, according to the most recent NCAA statistical rankings. UAB is scoring at a clip of 2.43 goals per game.

The Blazers are back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 30, when they take on Conference USA foe New Mexico. The match is slated to begin at 8:00 p.m. CT in Albuquerque, N.M.
