BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – For the third time in 2013, the UAB men’s soccer team is ranked in the top 10 of the NSCAA/Continental Tire Poll, as announced on Tuesday. UAB is currently No. 10 in the latest coaches’ poll.

The Blazers jumped three spots in the coaches’ poll following victories against FIU and Tulsa last week. In the Soccer America Poll, UAB moved up one position from this past week and is ranked No. 22 nationally.

In addition, the Blazers own the nation’s highest scoring offense for the second straight week. UAB is scoring at a clip of 2.46 goals per game. This marks the third time in 2012 the squad has had the top attack in the country.

UAB will be back on the pitch on Friday night when it hosts the College of Charleston in its final non-conference match of the regular season. The match is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. at West Campus Field.
