BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – For the third straight week, the UAB men’s soccer team is ranked in both major national polls. The Blazers are ranked No. 20 in the NSCAA/Continental Tire Poll and No. 22 in the Soccer America Poll, as announced on Tuesday.

Last week, the Green and Gold were ranked eighth in the country in both polls. It marked the highest the team had been ranked since 2003. Following this past weekend’s draw to then-No. 21 Charlotte and loss to East Tennessee State, UAB dropped to #20/22.

The Blazers will be back in action on Saturday, Sept. 21 when the squad hosts Mercer. The match is slated to kick off at 7 p.m. at West Campus Field.
