Junior Season (2011)

Battled through injuries, which limited him to playing in only 14 games with two starts ... finished fifth on the team with two goals and was seventh with five points (2g, 1a) ... found the back of the net against UIC (9/4) and Tulsa (11/4) ... lone assist came in the NCAA Tournament second round game against Charlotte (11/20) ... had 12 shots with seven coming on goal.

Sophomore Season (2010)

A third-team all-conference performer ... ranked second on the team and ninth in C-USA with six goals on the season ... also ranked second on the squad in points (13), shots (35) and shots on goal (17) ... his four game-winning goals on the year not only led the Blazers, but also ranked second in the league ... named to the UAB "Soccer For A Cure" Classic All-Tournament team ... helped lead team to the Classic's championship by scoring a pair of goals against North Florida (9/11) ... in addition to the game-winner against the Ospreys, he also recorded game-winning tallies against Lipscomb (9/19), Alabama A&M (9/26) and Kentucky (10/9) ... recorded a goal and an assist, to go along with a season-best four shots on goal, at South Carolina (10/2).

Freshman Season (2009)

Burst onto the scene during his first season with the Green and Gold, earning a spot on the Conference USA AllFreshman team ... despite making only one start in 18 appearances during the season, Gyawu finished the year tied for the team lead in total goals with seven and ranked second on the team with 16 points (7g, 2a) ... recorded the first UAB hat trick since 2003 when he scored three goals in a 7-1 win over FIU (10/10) ... had a career-best five shots on goal against the Golden Panthers ... earned his first career league offensive player of the week for his efforts against FIU ... finished eighth in C-USA in goals and was ninth in goals per game (0.39) ... also tied for team lead with a pair of game-winning goals this season ... scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Central Arkansas (9/18) ... also had a game-winning tally against Houston Baptist (9/27) in what was his lone start of the season ... led team in shot percentage (.259) and shots on goal percentage (.704) ... closed the year with 27 shots and 19 shots on goal.
