Sam Love and the Blazers wrapped the Warrior Wave Intercollegiate on Wednesday.

Sophomore Paul Dunne led the way for the Blazers, carding a team low 65 (-7) in the third round to jump up from a tie for 21st place to finish in a three-way tie for fifth with a final total of five-under 211.
The remaining four Blazers finished within a stroke of one another, led by junior Sam Love, who finished the tournament in a tie for 54th place with a final total of 225 (+9), while redshirt-junior Thomas Sutton finished a stroke behind with a total of 226 (+10) for 57th place. Senior Hunter Hawkins finished with a 227 (+11), while junior Conner Pratt carded a 69 in the final round for a total of 288 (+12)
Baylor won the team race with a final total of 18-under 846. North Carolina State finished seven strokes behind with an 11-under 853, and UC Irvine rounded out the top three with a final total of six-under 858.
Individually, North Carolina State's Albin Choi won the tournament with a score of 10-under 206. Baylor's Filippo Zucchetti finished a stroke behind with a total of nine-under 2-7, and Xavier's Korey Ward rounded out the top three with an eight-under 208.
The Warrior Wave Intercollegiate marks the final event of the fall schedule for UAB. The Blazers will open the spring slate in Gainesville, Fla. at the Gator Invitational on Feb. 9-10.
