2014 NCAA Championship Leaderboard | Round Three Tee Times

HUTCHINSON, Kan. - After two rounds of play at the 2014 NCAA Championship the No. 19 UAB men's golf team is tied for 14th and will play the third round on Monday at the Prairie Dunes Country Club.

UAB concluded its second round early on Sunday morning. The Blazers had 2-4 holes remaining in the round after completing most on Saturday. They finished the second round with a 285 (+5) for a 36-hole total of 567 (+7).

"We came back this morning and played four holes," said head coach Alan Murray. "We are fortunate that we are going to get to rest and tee off after mid-day tomorrow. It was a great effort from the guys. They started off the second round poorly, but bounced back well. They made plenty of birdies and put us in position to see if we can have a chance to make the top-eight. We are four shots back of eighth place so we are about where we want to be."

Weather has caused several delays during this year's tournament and forced the NCAA to alter the championship format in order to finish the team championship. The teams ranked 1-15 after the second round will play their third round on Monday. The rest of the field (16-30) will play as much as they can Sunday and finish Monday morning. The individual champion will be named based on the 54-holes from stroke play.

Junior Paul Dunne added another birdie to his scorecard after recording one on the seventh hole. He finished the second round with a 71 (+1) and is currently tied for eighth at 3-under-par (137) through the first two rounds.

Three players had just two holes remaining to play, starting at the eighth tee. Senior Sam Love earned pars on both holes and recorded a 71 (+1) for the second round. Love is tied for 50th at 2-over-par (142) after 36 holes of play.

Fellow senior Thomas Sutton is 3-over-par (143) after two rounds to rank tied for 63rd. He finished the second round with a 73 (+3). Sophomore Martin Rohwer wrapped up his second round with an even-par 70. He is tied for 89th at 5-over-par (145).

Senior Wilson McDonald birdied two of his final three holes on Sunday morning. He finished the second round in 77 (+7) strokes and is 156 (+16) through 36 holes.

With the third round moved to Monday, the Golf Channel has expanded its coverage of the NCAA Men's Golf Championship. Golf Central Pre Game will begin at 1 p.m. CT on Monday and will be followed by live coverage of the tournament from 4 p.m. CT through the conclusion of play.

UAB is slated to tee off from the 10th hole on Monday. The first tee time will be McDonald at 12 p.m. CT, followed by Rohwer (12:10), Sutton (12:20), Love (12:30) and Dunne (12:40). The top eight teams after the third round will advance to match play, which will begin on Tuesday.
