BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--The UAB football team returned to the campus practice field on Tuesday for the first time since its 52-3 victory over Southeastern Louisiana. The contest at Houston is scheduled for an 11 a.m. CT kickoff at Robertson Stadium, and will be aired on Fox Sports.

The Blazers practiced in full pads for roughly two hours in preparation for the fast-pace offense Houston has to offer.

"They're a group that plays extremely hard," offensive line coach John Peterson said. "I'm sure that they practice against an up-tempo offense every day, so I'm sure they're well conditioned and well coached, and have a couple guys on the inside with a lot of experience. We've got to work hard to be prepared for them."

UAB opened league play two weeks ago by dropping a 49-42 decision at home against Tulsa. Houston has won its last two contests, defeating Rice and North Texas, after an 0-3 start to the year.
