BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- UAB's football game scheduled for Sept. 25 at Tennessee will kick off at 12:21 p.m. ET and be televised by the SEC Network.
The Blazers and Volunteers will be meeting for the fourth time when they play at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville. UAB also made trips to Tennessee to meet the Volunteers in 1998, 2005 and 2008.
The Tennessee game will mark the Blazers' second television appearance of the season and will be one of at least seven to be aired during the 2010 season.
After last Saturday's game at SMU was carried locally in the Dallas area on the Time Warner Cable Texas Channel, UAB also has several other games remaining on the schedule for TV (10/6 - at UCF, 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN, 10/30 - at Southern Miss, 11:00 a.m. CT on CSS, 11/6 - vs. Marshall, 3:00 p.m. on CSS and 11/11 - vs. East Carolina, 7:00 p.m. CT on CBS College Sports).
The Oct. 23 game at Mississippi State is also expected to be a TV game but kickoff time and network have yet to be announced.
UAB (0-2) will be back in action this Saturday, Sept. 18 when the Blazers return home to play host to Troy in a 3:00 p.m. kickoff at Legion Field.
