UAB Game At South Carolina Will Be Televised

Garrick McGee's team had another game added to its 2012 television schedule Monday.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB football team has picked up another television game for its 2012 schedule.

The Blazers' Sept. 15 contest at SEC foe South Carolina will be televised by FSN and can also be seen on ESPN3. The game is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. CT.

The addition of the matchup in Columbia gives UAB seven television games for the 2012 season. The Blazers' game Sept. 22 at Ohio State is also expected to be designated for television.

UAB's game against South Carolina will be the third between the two schools. The teams also met in 2003 and 2008 with both games also previously played at Williams-Brice Stadium. The Gamecocks won the 2003 contest, 42-10, and claimed the game in 2008 by a 26-13 score.
