A part-time starter in 2005 and '06, Williams will again challenge for starting duty but is sure for extensive playing in any case ... redshirted as a true freshman in 2003, Williams saw spot duty in secondary in 2004 ... can play cornerback or safety ... listed as No. 2 cornerback coming out of spring practice.

2006: Played in all 12 games and started season finale at UCF ... recorded 11 tackles on the season with a season-high six (4 solos, 2 assists) against the Golden Knights in lone start ... also registered tackles against East Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi State, Troy and Marshall.

2005: Saw action in nine games and started the last five of the season ... was in on 22 tackles during season, including 16 solo hits ... had one pass break-up ... recorded a season-high six tackles -- five of them solo -- in Blazers' late-season victory at UTEP ... also had five tackles in final game of the year at East Carolina ... registered 20 of his 22 tackles during the season ion the five contests.

2004: Saw action in six games during the season and recorded one tackle.

2003: Did not see any action and was redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Wenonah High School ... had out- standing season in 2002, starting in five games as running back ... rushed for over 500 yards during the season, averaging over 100 yards a game ...recorded five interceptions as defensive back ... a team captain for Wenonah ... best game came versus Hillcrest with two interceptions and over 100 yards rushing ... also played on the specialty teams ... as a defensive back, he tallied 40 tackles, 20 assists and batted away four balls.
