2007: Saw action in season's first seven games with starts in two (vs. Mississippi State and Houston) ... missed final five contests due to injury ... despite missing five games, Steed ranked 11th on the team in tackles with 31 total stops ... recorded 1.5 tackles for loss and one sack (both against Houston) ... in start versus the Cougars, Steed registered career-high 11 tackles ... earned a spot on Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
