Was redshirted as a true freshman in 2009 ... will be in his third season with the Blazers and his contribution has increased with each year ... has seen action at both cornerback and safety during career ... will compete for starting job at corner this fall ... listed at No. 1 at cornerback position coming out of spring practice.

2011: Saw action in all 12 games and made two starts (Tulane and Troy) ... saw majority of playing time at safety ... finished season with nine tackles ... had season-high three tackles vs. Troy ... recorded a pair of stops in games vs. Florida and East Carolina.

2010: Played in all 12 games for the Blazers, including action on special teams ... contributed seven tackles during season ... season-best two tackles against Florida Atlantic and Southern Miss.

2009: Did not see any action and was redshirted.

High School: Played cornerback for head coach Ken Barrow at Frederick Douglass High School ... placed on the Atlanta Journal Constitution's The Georgia 150 list as one of the top high school recruits in the state ... had three interceptions returned for 25 yards, while also recording 28 tackles, including two tackles for loss, as a senior... also named to the 2-5A All-Region team and Score Prep's All-Fulton County team in 2008 ... was honored as the Region 2-5A Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Astros to a 27-16 victory over Washington on Sept. 12, 2008 ... attended same high school that former UAB quarterback Darrell Hackney attended.
