After seeing limited action for two seasons, his playing time increased last season ... expected to play larger role in 2007 as he is one of defensive front's most experienced players ... played mainly inside last season at defensive tackle but is listed as a No. 1 defensive end coming out of spring practice.

2006: Played in all 12 games last fall and started 11 of those ... ranked 12th on the team in tackles with 22 with 11 of those solo hits ... recorded 5.5 tackles for loss ... recorded a season-high five tackles against UCF ... registered four tackles against both Mississippi State and Marshall ... in season finale at UCF, he had 2.5 tackles for loss.

2005: Saw action in all 11 games during season and recorded six tackles ... had season-high three tackles in win at UTEP and recorded two stops vs. Rice ... also had a tackle for loss at Troy early in season. 2004: Saw action in three games during season and recorded one tackle as a reserve who provided depth.

High School: Attended Tuscaloosa Central and played for head coach Chuck Friend ... attended same high school as former Blazers Julius Wainwright and Sam Dudley ... as a senior defensive end in 2002, he had 61 tackles, including 40 solos ... also had 18 QB hurries and three fumble recoveries ... recorded 75 tackles as a junior ... also registered 13 sacks and 20 QB hurries ... one of team's best games in 2002 was a 17-0 victory over crosstown rival Tuscaloosa County, one of the state's top-ranked teams ...helped lead Central to Class 6A state playoffs where it fell to Hoover in opening round.
