Entering his fifth year at UAB ... made the transition to the defensive side of the ball before 2013 season, making the position switch to safety ... was moved prior to start of 2013 spring drills ... was in regular rotation at wide receiver position in 2011 and 2012 ... his 2013 was cut short due to injury.

2013: Only played in two games as season was cut short due to ankle injury ... recorded four tackles, including a season-best three against Troy.

2012: Saw action in 11-of-12 games for the Blazers and started five of those (South Carolina, Southeastern Louisiana, East Carolina, Tulane and Southern Miss) ... ranked tied for fifth on the team in receptions with 23 for 277 yards (12.0 avg.) and a pair of touchdowns ... caught touchdown passes against Southeastern Louisiana and Houston ... caught a season-long 62-yard pass against Houston, but his touchdown catch against the Cougars came on a 16-yard toss from QB Austin Brown ... had three catches for a season-best 84 yards vs. Houston ... failed to catch at least one pass in only one of the games he played in last season (Tulsa) ... closed out the season with a solid performance at UCF as he was on receiving end of four passes for 66 yards.

2011: Played in 11-of-12 games and started a pair of contests (Memphis and Southern -- both UAB victories) ... caught 18 passes for 174 yards and a touchdown in his first season of collegiate action ... his TD reception came in the Blazers' come-from-behind win at Memphis ... recorded season-highs for catches (7) and receiving yards (61) in the victory over the Tigers ... had eight receptions for 78 yards and one score in his two starts ... registered four catches for 44 yards vs. Marshall ... had two receptions for 34 yards with a season-long 22-yard grab in contest vs. Mississippi State ... rushed three times for four yards during season.

2010: Did not see any action.

High School: Was a late addition for the Blazers, inking with UAB after signing day, 2010 ... attended perennial Georgia state football power Parkview High School in metro-Atlanta ... coached by Cecil Flowe ... saw action on both sides of the ball during his career ... as a senior, he ranked fourth in Gwinnett County in receptions with 56 and set school record for catches and receiving yards (659) ... broke school's single-season receptions record previously held by Jeff Francoeur ... also recorded six touchdowns as a senior ... as a linebacker his junior year, Davis registered 58 tackles with pair of sacks and one interception ...also participated on the track and field team at Parkview.
