Looking to build on a successful 2005 campaign as he came on scene and made impact in Blazer linebacking corps ... listed as No. 2 "Mike" linebacker coming out of spring practice ... earned Conference USA All-Freshman Team honors in 2005.

2005: Played in all 11 games and started three for the Blazers ... ranked sixth on the team in total tackles with 43 for season, including 19 solo stops ... recorded a pair of tackles for loss and also recovered one fumble (vs. UTEP) ... had one interception during season, also in victory at UTEP ... registered a season-high 12 tackles in win over Rice ... forced two fumbles against the Owls ... both of his tackles for loss also came against Rice ... earned a spot on the All-Freshman team in Conference USA following season.
