CAREER: Played in 16 games at UAB (1999-2000) in an injury-plauged two seasons...had 616 yards on 130 carries with three touchdowns...also caught eight passes with one touchdown reception (all in 1999)...2000: Was injured in the first offensive series of the season vs. Chattanooga (9/7), suffering a sprained ankle...still saw action in 10 games, but was not always at full speed...rushed for 211 yards on 55 carries...best overall performance was at Army (11/18), where he rushed for 46 yards on 12 carries...participated in the Blue-Gray Classic following the season (12/25/00)...1999: Appeared in six games and started four in his first season with UAB....was the Blazers? leading rusher for most of the 1999 season (405 yards and three touchdowns on 75 carries) before suffering a broken leg (fibula) in the Cincinnati game (10/16)?he did, however, score a touchdown on the play on which he was injured (a three-yard run in the second quarter)?made solid progress in his rehabilitation and practiced and dressed out for the Tulane game (11/20; he did not see action in the game)?JUNIOR COLLEGE: A two-year starter and letterwinner for Coach Tom Goode at East Mississippi Community College?
