Enters junior season with 113 rushing attempts in his first two seasons ... begins fall practice as No. 2 running back ... a power back who has strong, overpowering size ... crafty runner who is known for his ability to hit the hole quickly.

2002: Made five starts during season and played in all 12 games for the Blazers ... finished the season as UAB's third-leading rusher with 319 yards and three touchdowns ... was the team's top receiver among running backs with 12 receptions (85 yards) ... registered the first 100-yard rushing game of his career against Memphis last September as he ran for 102 yards on 14 carries ... also had 42 yards in season finale at Cincinnati ... scored rushing touchdowns against Pittsburgh, Houston and Louisville ... had career-long run of 31 yards versus Memphis ... caught three passes in contest vs. Tulane and had a pair of receptions vs. Memphis and Army.

2001: Named to the C-USA All-Freshman team ... saw action in all 11 games as a true freshman ... had 38 yards on six carries in UAB's 41-13 victory against Montana State in the season opener at Legion Field (Aug. 30) ... had 30 yards on nine carries in UAB's 55-3 victory over Army at Legion Field (Sept. 22) ... averaged 4.1 yards per carry (fourth best on the team) ... team's fourth leading rusher.

HIGH SCHOOL: Rushed for 1,362 yards (160 carries) and 13 touchdowns as a senior, earning honorable mention all-state honors (Atlanta Journal-Constitution) at Stephenson High School ... had the state of Georgia's top individual rushing performance of 2000 with 244 yards and three touchdowns vs. Douglass (and future UAB teammates Darrell Hackney and Travouris Thomas) ... also had 205 yards and two touchdowns vs. Lakeside in 2000 ... had six games with 150+-yards rushing as a senior ... rushed for 725 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior.
