After sitting out 2011 season, Crews was moved to linebacker from safety early in 2012 spring drills and saw his first collegiate action in 2012 season as a redshirt freshman ... saw reserve duty at linebacker last season.

2013: Played in eight contests and started one (Northwestern State) ... made 12 tackles, including eight solo hits ... registered one tackle for loss (vs. Northwestern State) ... had one quarterback hurry and a forced fumble (vs. Troy) ... season-high four tackles against Troy and Northwestern State.

2012: Played in 11 games, missing only the Ohio State contest ... finished the season with 15 tackles, including nine solo hits ... also contributed a tackle for loss (Troy), a pass breakup (at Tulane) and a fumble recovery (vs. Southeastern Louisiana) ... returned the fumble 11 yards against the Lions ... recorded a season-high three tackles in three different games (South Carolina, Tulane and Marshall) ... had two tackles in road game at Houston. 2011: Did not see any action and was redshirted.

High School: Attended Bibb County High School where he helped lead the Choctaws to back-to-back Class 4A Region 3 championships in 2009 and 2010 ...
