A year after being the youngest of UAB's starting offensive linemen, Hubbard is now the leader of the Blazers up front as the group's only senior ... emerged as integral cog on offensive front in 2010 ... expected to again play large role for the Blazers ... listed as No. 1 QT for UAB entering fall practice ... will be contender for all-conference honors this fall.

2011: Started all 12 games for the Blazers on the offensive line, holding down the right tackle spot opposite first-team all-conference tackle Matt McCants.

2010: Played in eight games and started four for the Blazers, including first three of the season ... helped UAB offense to its second-highest yardage total in school history (5,074 yards).

2009: Played in eight games as a true freshman ... started season opener against Rice ... was tabbed to Conference USA All-Freshman team by league's head coaches following season.

High School: A strong and agile offensive lineman who played under head coach Dell McGee ... rated as the No. 51 offensive lineman in the country and No. 62 on Georgia's top 75 players in the 2009 class ... rated as No. 21 OG prospect by Scout.com ... played left tackle during his junior and senior year for Carver teams that went 26-3 and won the 2007 Georgia High School Association Class AAA state championship ... recorded 77 pancake blocks and was selected to the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer All-City team and the Associated Press Class AAA first-team All-State squad .... chosen to compete in the annual Offense/Defense All-American game in Myrtle Beach, S.C. that features some of the top young talent in the nation.
