Sat out 2007 season and was redshirted ... a part-time starter throughout his career, Calhoun will enter senior campaign with 24 career starts ... after making collegiate debut in 2008 and starting final half of year, he became a key component of offensive line in 2009 and continued in that role last fall ... expected to play significant role again this season ... can play guard and tackle.

2010: Started final seven games of the season at right tackle.

2009: Played in all 12 games during the season and started final 11 of those at right tackle.

2008: Saw action in nine contests during the season and started six of those games.

2007: Did not see any action and was given redshirt year.

High School: Attended Benjamin Russell High School ... was a three-year starter under head coach Willie Martin ... named to Alabama Sportswriters 5-A All-State team in 2006 ... tabbed to Birmingham News Super All-State team following senior season ... also tabbed to Birmingham News 5-A All-State team ... listed 18th on Birmingham News' list of Super Seniors ... helped his team to playoff appearance every season on varsity ... helped Wildcats to state semifinal appearance in 2005 ... also was team captain.
