One of the mainstays of the "Steel Shield" defensive front over the past four seasons...played every position on the line during his career.

2001: Started all 11 games at defensive end, making 37 total tackles (16 solo) with five tackles for loss, two pass breakups, seven quarterback "hurries" and one fumble recovery.

2000: Although slowed by a knee sprain suffered late in the LSU game (Sep. 23), Bush had a big impact on the Blazers as a junior...had three tackles, one quarterback "hurry," and three pass breakups vs. LSU, and harassed Tiger quarterback Josh Booty all evening long...came back late in the season and had a sack at Army (Nov. 18)...finished the season with 13 total tackles (five solo, eight assists), one and one-half sack, five quarterback "hurries," and five pass breakups...moved from noseguard to defensive tackle during spring 2000 drills.

1999: Started all 11 games on the defensive front...had 47 total tackles (32 unassisted, 15 assists) five tackles for loss, two sacks, and six pass breakups.

1998: Started five games and played in 10 contests at defensive end as a true freshman...did not play in season opener at No. 3 Nebraska (9/5)...made collegiate debut vs. Tennessee Tech (9/19)...made first collegiate start at East Carolina (10/10)...also started at Louisiana Tech (10/17), vs. No. 21Virginia Tech (10/24), at Northeast Louisiana (10/31) and at No. 2 Tennessee (11/7)...made 24 tackles on the season (18 solos and six assists)...finished second on team with five sacks...also had six tackles for loss...had season-high four tackles on four occasions, including at East Carolina and at No. 2 Tennessee...two sacks vs. Tennessee Tech and at East Carolina.
