Will be entering third season at UAB after seeing significant action in each of his first two years ... as a true freshman he started nine games in 2012 and had four starts in 2013 ... with experience under his belt, he will be counted on more heavily this season ... listed as preseason starter at offensive tackle heading into 2014 fall camp.

2013: Saw increased action as season progressed ... played in 10 games, starting last four games of the season.

2012: Saw action in nine games, starting the final nine contests of the 2012 campaign at guard ... named to the C-USA All-Freshman team following season ... earned a spot on the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School: Attended Benjamin Russell High School ... a two-year starter at offensive line under head coach Danny Horn, playing the right guard and right tackle positions ... was tabbed to the preseason Super-12 Team and a First-Team All-Outlook performer according to the Alexander City Outlook ... blocked for the top rushing team in the region, which included 6A state champion Prattville ... blocked for BRHS running back Demetrius Buckner, who rushed for 1,300 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2011 ... led all BRHS linemen with 75 knockdown blocks, while his 16 pancake blocks ranked second on the team ... helped lead team to the second round of the 2011 AHSAA 6A state playoffs after going 1-9 in each of the previous two seasons ... can bench press 340 pounds, squat 540 pounds and runs a 5.1 40-yard dash ... also was a four-year letterwinner for the boys' golf team ... a member of the National Honor Society.
