2001: Passed for 828 yards and four touchdowns in seven games this season...suffered a severe ankle injury in the third quarter of the Cincinnati game (Oct. 13)...did not dress for the Tulane game (Oct. 20) and saw action only briefly (one snap vs. TCU, Nov. 10) in the team's remaining four games...rushed for 203 net yards on 62 carries and scored three rushing touchdowns in 2001...was named C-USA Offensive Player of The Week after the Army game (Sept. 22), in which he ran for one touchdown and passed for two (he finished with 187 yards).

2000: Played in eight games and started six (UAB was 4-2 with Aaron as a starter)...threw for 1,135 yards and five touchdowns...stepped into the starting role at quarterback in the season's sixth week...after seeing action as a backup vs. both Louisiana-Lafayette and Louisville, Aaron made his first start vs. Memphis (Oct. 14), leading the Blazers to a hard-fought 13-9 win at Legion Field...threw for 144 yards and cooly directed two fourth-quarter scoring drives as UAB scored 10 points in the game's final nine minutes to pull out the victory...threw for 153 yards and a touchdown in UAB's 14-9 homecoming win over Middle Tennessee (Oct. 21)...ran his record as a starter to 3-0 the next week, throwing for 192 yards and a 28-yard touchdown strike to T.J. Simmons as the Blazers upset East Carolina in Greenville (Oct. 28)...did not commit a turnover in his first five games as a Blazer...passed for one touchdown and rushed for another in the Blazers' loss at Cincinnati (Nov. 4)...finished the season on a high note with a career-high 218 passing yards and a 67-yard touchdown pass to Leron Little in the win at Army (Nov. 18)...had 1,036 passing yards (92-168) with four touchdowns in his six starts...named the team's Most Valuable Player following the season.

1999: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

JUNIOR COLLEGE:A two-year starter for Coach Jay Miller at Itawamba (Miss.) Community College...top junior college Player selection by Jeff Whitaker's Deep South Football Recruiting Guide...ranked No. 14 among Top 25 Mississippi JUCO Prospects by the Jackson Clarion-Ledger...completed 140 of 294 passes for 2,099 yards and 17 touchdowns in 1998...ranked fifth among national junior-college leaders in passing and total offense as a sophomore...as a freshman, he completed 66 of 140 passes for 1,133 yards and seven touchdowns.
