BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Two UAB coaches will compete at the Regions Celebrity Pro Am, which is the annual event preceding the Regions Charity Classic held May 15-17. Head football coach Neil Callaway and men's basketball associate head coach Donnie Marsh are set to tee off at the Ross Bridge Country Club in Hoover, Ala., which is the host site for this year's event.
Callaway will have the early tee time of the two Blazer coaches with an 8:28 a.m. start time on Thursday morning. Callaway will tee off on the No. 1 hole and is paired with Champions Tour professional Jay Haas, along with celebrities Jeff Lebo, Wimp Sanderson and John Parker Wilson. Marsh is paired with professional John Harris and will tee off on the No. 10 hole at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
The annual Regions Charity Classic begins Friday morning.
