JUNIOR SEASON (2000-01): Scored 17 points on 3-pointers and hit 14-of-16 free throws, including 5-of-6 from the line in the final 1:03, at DePaul (2/24)...had seven points and five rebounds in his return home to Memphis (2/19)...hit six-of-six free throws in the final 31 seconds to help seal win over Marquette (2/14) as he scored 13 points in the contest...garnered 17 points, with 5-of-11 from 3-point range, against Centenary to go along with 12 rebounds for lone double-double (2/12)...nailed three 3-pointers against USF (2/10) to finish with 11 against the Bulls...collected 17 of his 20 points in the final half at Cincinnati (1/17), where he hit five 3-pointers in the final period...scored a game-high 19 points at Houston (1/10), including five 3-pointers ...made all six of his shots from behind the arc to collect 19 points in UAB's C-USA opening game victory over Tulane (1/7)...scored in double digits twice in Hawai'i with 18 against Cal State Northridge (12/21) and 16 versus Hawai'i (12/23)...converted first 19 free throws of the season over the first eight-plus games before a miss...scored UAB's first seven points of the contest en route to a 20-point performance against Texas Tech...notched season-high 21 points against Alabama A&M (11/21).
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Averaged 23 points and five rebounds per contest to earn All-America accolades during his sophomore campaign at Northeast (Miss.) CC for coach Mike Lewis...the squad captured division, state and region championships during the 1999-2000 campaign...totaled 22 points and four rebounds per game as a freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Martin Westview High School in Martin, Tenn., where he played for Kevin Tuck...collected All-State and All-District honors three times...named the Jackson Sun Player of the Year his junior year after averaging 19 points and 10 rebounds per contest...added 24 points and 14 rebounds during his senior campaign...lettered in tennis.
