Redshirt Season (2007-08)
Entered the season tabbed first-team all-conference following sensational 2006-07 season, which he established career highs with 15.5 ppg, 5.2 apg, 4.8 rpg and 37.1 minutes a contest ... in doing so, he became the first Blazer to earn the preseason award since the 1998 campaign when former UAB great Fred Williams was tabbed to the preseason squad ... averaged 8.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game through opening four contests before suffering a season-ending knee injury in opening minute of second half in game vs. Georgia Southern (11/17) ... also ended his season going 13-of-13 from the charity stripe ... recorded 11 points, five rebounds and four steals in 26 minutes of action in an exhibition contest against West Alabama (11/1).
Junior Season (2006-07)
Had a breakout season despite playing point guard instead of his natural position of shooting guard ... earned a spot on the 2007 Conference USA First Team, as well as the C-USA All-Defensive squad ... led team in scoring (15.5) and assists (5.2) per game, while also ranking fourth in rebounds (4.8) ... finished second in the league in assists and fifth in scoring ... also finished tied for 42nd in the nation in assists per game ... averaged 37.1 minutes per game which ranked second on the school's all-time single-season list ... during a five-game stretch from Dec. 2 through Dec. 18, Delaney played a mind-boggling 213 minutes, which averages to 42.6 minutes per contest ... became the first player in school history to play 95 minutes over a two-game stretch (average of 47.5 minutes per game) with 50 minutes played in a double overtime win over Minnesota (12/5), followed by 45 minutes logged in an overtime victory vs. DePaul (12/9) ... captured two C-USA Player of the Week honors for the weeks of Nov. 13 and Dec. 11, marking his first two such awards in his career ... recorded double-figure scoring in all but six games, while also dishing out at least three assists in all but seven games during season ... had a career-high 32 points on 11-of-16 shooting from the floor in the win over Wyoming (11/22), while also collecting seven assists ... recorded back-to-back double-double games against Radford (11/11) and UW Milwaukee (11/12), accounting for 13 points and 10 assists against the Highlanders and 11 points and 13 rebounds against the Panthers at the John Thompson Foundation Classic ... earned a spot on the John Thompson Foundation Classic All-Tournament ... collected 14 points, all coming in the second half, and 11 assists against UCF (1/10) to mark his third career double-double ... scored 26 points at Wyoming (11/18) ... accounted for 25 points in double overtime victory over Minnesota (12/5), in a career-best 50 minutes of action ... scored the final eight points in the win over Cincinnati (12/2), including the game-winning basket with eight seconds left, to finish with 22 points ... collected 25 points while playing all 45 minutes in the overtime victory against DePaul (12/9) ... had 21 points and nine assists in win at Tulane (1/13) ... dished out a career-best 12 assists, to go along with nine points and seven boards in win over Winston-Salem State (12/23).
