BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB baseball team will host No. 8 Alabama on Wednesday at Regions Field. First pitch is slated for 6:30 p.m. at the downtown Birmingham ballpark.

It marks the second time the two programs have faced off in a eight-day span. UAB defeated then-No. 9 Alabama, 2-1, on Wednesday, April 9 in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Alabama State Contest Cancelled
Tuesday, April 15’s UAB-Alabama State baseball game has been cancelled due to unplayable conditions. The game will not be made up.

Tonight’s Strike Out Cancer event has been moved to Saturday, April 26 against Marshall. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. at Regions Field against the Thundering Herd.

Parking will be available in the following places for the Alabama contest:

- Remote #3 / 15B (between 4th and 5th Avenues South and 12th and 13th Streets South)
- Remote #2 (between 11th and 12th Streets South and 5th and 6th Avenues South)
- Lot 15C / 7 (adjacent to UAB Bookstore)
- Lot 15 N (corner of 13th Street South and 5th Avenue South)
- Lot 33 (corner of 3rd Avenue South and 17th Street South)
