BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The UAB and Alabama baseball teams are set to resume their halted baseball game Monday at 4 p.m. (CT) at Young Memorial Field.
Admission is free to the game, which will pick up in the top of the sixth inning with the score tied 2-2. The contest started March 25 at Regions Park but was stopped in the sixth inning because of rain.
When play resumes, Alabama will be at the plate in the top of the sixth with the bases loaded and one out.
UAB is coming off a 13-6 Sunday victory on the road at Marshall that clinched a series victory over the Thundering Herd. UAB is now 18-15 on the season and 3-6 in Conference USA action.
Alabama is 22-12 overall and 7-8 in the SEC after dropping two out of three games over the weekend against second-ranked LSU.
