2012 (Senior)

· Made 25 appearances, including three starts sporting a 4-4 record and 3.68 ERA
· Served as the team's closer most of the season, recording eight saves, tied for fifth in C-USA
· His 25 appearances tied for seventh in C-USA
· Earned wins vs. Ball State (Feb. 25), Utah (March 3), Houston (April 27) and Memphis (May 27)
· Finished career with 16 career saves, second most in UAB history
· Pitched a total of 51.1 innings with 45 strikeouts and 27 walks
· Held opponents scoreless in seven of first eight appearances and nine of his first 11
· Transitioned into a starter's role down the stretch
· Made first collegiate start at No. 5 Rice (May 13), holding the Owls to one earned run over five innings in a no decision

· Served as the team's closer and an outfielder
· Appeared in 32 games, making 26 starts, 21 in left field
· Pitched in a team-high 21 contests, all out of the bullpen
· Finished with eight saves, tied for fourth in Conference USA
· Save total tied for the sixth most in a season in UAB history
· Finished 2-5 with 38 strikeouts in 33.2 innings
· Did not allow a run over first 11 appearances, totaling 14.2 innings
· During stretch, collected seven saves, allowed just five hits and totaled 22 strikeouts
· Strung together six straight appearances with a save (March 16-April 2)
· Earned first career win in debut on February 19 vs. Arkansas State
· Registered first save against Xavier on February 25 with two inning stint
· Recorded at least one strikeout in 18 of 21 appearances
· Punched out a career-high four batters on three occasions, last vs. Memphis on April 16

· Played for coach Sam Temple and alongside fellow Blazer newcomer Michael Busby
· Helped Hinds to a Mississippi state championship in 2010 and back-to-back regional appearances
· Went 6-3 on the mound with a 4.82 ERA as a sophomore in 2010
· Struck out 63 and walked just 16 in 65 and one-third innings as a sophomore
· Hit .340 at the plate with five triples, 28 runs scored and 17 RBI
· Successful on 7-of-9 steal attempts
· Went 2-2 on the mound with a 3.50 ERA as a freshman in 2009
· Struck out 35 batters in 36.2 innings in freshman campaign

High School
· A three-year letterwinner at Northwest Rankin High School in Brandon, Miss., for coach Jeff McClaskey
· Team captain as a senior in 2008
· Earned all-metro honors from the Clarion-Ledger and Mississippi 5A all-state recognition in 2008

· Went 11-2 with a 3.12 ERA and 72 strikeouts in 75.2 innings as a senior
