2013 (Junior)
- Led UAB pitchers with 21 appearances, including four starts
- Posted a record of 2-4 with three saves and a 3.75 ERA
- Struck out a team-high 56 batters
- Had four or more strikeouts in seven different appearances
- Had a career-high seven strikeouts against Rice (May 22) in six innings of work
- Pitched 7.1 innings against Marshall (March 29) and recorded five strikeouts
- Recorded four strikeouts in 6.1 innings against Tulane (May 17)

2012 (Sophomore)
- Conference USA All-Tournament Team selection
- Made 24 appearances, including one start posting a 4-4 record with a 3.50 ERA
- The reliable right-hander made 23 outings in relief, ranking 10th in Conference USA
- Pitched a total of 64.1 innings, totaling 45 strikeouts, 26 walks, and holding opponents to a .243 batting average
- Added a pair of saves and pitched in one of UAB's four shutouts on the season
- Had six outings of four strikeouts
- Did not allow an earned run over his first six appearances totaling 12.1 innings
- During that stretch, surrendered only four hits and two walks with 13 strikeouts
- Earned the win in an emergency outing versus Tulane (May 25) at the Conference USA Tournament
- Held the Green Wave to two earned runs in 6.2 innings and had four strikeouts to earn All-Tournament accolades
- Earned saves against Ball State (Feb. 26) and Houston (April 28)
- Blanked Alabama over three innings of relief work to earn the win (April 10)

2011 (Freshman)
- Made 13 total appearances and started two games as a true-freshman
- Was the starting pitcher versus Samford (March 16) and Troy (April 19)
- Finished with a 1-1 record, 3.20 ERA in 25.1 innings
- Held opponents to a .266 batting average
- Kept the opposition off the scoreboard in nine of 13 outings
- Did not allow a hit or run over his first four collegiate outings, totaling five innings
- Blanked Cleveland State (March 4) for the final two innings with four strikeouts, teaming up with Ryan Woolley for the team's lone shutout of 2011
- In his start at Troy, pitched 6.0 innings, allowing one earned run off five hits to earn the victory

High School/Prep
- Played for head coach Brent Patterson at Cullman HS
- Played in the Alabama High School Coaches Association North-South baseball doubleheader
- Went 5-3 with a 3.18 ERA as a junior, striking out 45 batters in 44 innings despite missing half the season because of injury
- Helped Cullman to a state championship in 2008 and a state semifinal appearance in 2009
- Played summer baseball for the Bama Bombers
- Helped his 2008 Bombers team to a fourth-place finish in the 16U USA Baseball World Championship in Jupiter, Fla.
- Member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society
- Played at the same high school as former Blazer pitcher Blake Huddleston
