2001 (Junior): One of only two Blazers to start all the games he played in in 2001, and the only player to see action in all of the team's 55 games ... had the highest batting average (.324) and on-base percentage (.411) of any of the everyday players ... also led the team in runs scored (32), hits (60), times hit by pitch (14) and total plate appearances (222) ... tied for the team lead in multiple-hit games with 15 (including five three-hit games) ... was second on the team in RBIs (31), multiple-RBI games (8) and hits per game (1.09) ... opened the year with a six-game hitting streak (Feb. 13-21), had another later on (Apr. 20-28), and finished by hitting safely in his final two games ... named to Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for the 2000-01 school year.

2000 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 60 games, starting 59 (all at shortstop); his only non-start of the season was vs. Tennessee Tech (Apr. 19; he played and had a single in his only at-bat in that game) ... hit .231 with three home runs and 21 RBI; also had 10 doubles ... had a .952 fielding percentage; made only 15 errors in 315 chances, was part of 48 double-plays, and led team with 191 assists ... had five multiple hit games and three multiple RBI games ... hit .242 with runners on base (19 RBI) ... hit .667 with the bases loaded (2-3, 5 RBI) ... hit .273 vs. left-handed pitching, .217 vs. right-handers.
