· Picked up a victory against Mississippi State by pitching 3.0 scoreless innings on March 9
· Fired 3.0 scoreless frames at Marshall to earn a victory on March 27
· In a win at Tulane, set career highs in innings pitched (7.0) and strikeouts (6) on May 1
· Earned Co-C-USA Pitcher of the Week (May 2) for performance vs. Green Wave
· Blanked Utah over 4.0 innings in relief with six punch outs on May 20

2010 (Freshman)
· Finished second on the UAB staff with 20 appearances, all out of the bullpen
· Tied for the second-most wins of any UAB pitcher with five (and had just one loss)
· Held opponents to a .250 batting average
· Struck out 39 batters in 41 innings of work
· Went 2-1 with one save and a 4.79 ERA over nine appearances in conference play
· Won his first three collegiate decisions (Feb. 27 vs. Ball State, March 5 vs. Eastern Illinois and March 23 at Kennesaw State)
· Also posted wins May 9 at Memphis (tossing six innings in relief) and May 22 at Rice
· Played over the summer for the Dubois County Bombers in the Collegiate Prospect League
· Earned a spot on the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll
High School
· A four-year letterwinner at Austin High School for coach Jake Miles
· A two-time all-state honorable mention selection
· Posted a 7-2 record on the mound as a senior with an ERA below 3.00, 76 strikeouts and 17 walks in 60 innings
