SAM HUNT - FOOTBALL
November 27, 2007
Now that the season's over, I have a lot more free time to fill, so I got in the mini van earlier to find a place to eat a good slow meal with no meetings to make afterwards. I just checked the messages on my phone and apparently I passed my academic advisor Mary Kathryn, but didn't see her wave.
In her message, she ended by saying she passed me and then said, "I guess Mr. quarterback is too cool to wave to anybody". MK, in response, I DRIVE A MINI VAN. Sorry I didn't see ya.
As for football I don't really have a lot to say about how I feel about the season. My little brother is the quarterback at my old high school and after finishing up his senior season of football he sent me a text message asking me if It was worth the time I had to give up to play college football. The answer was easy for me.
Of course it was worth it and the opportunity has been a blessing. With this season goes a season of my life. If I could go back I wouldn't spend the last three years as anything but a Blazer. I can see a bright future ahead and a program with no limits.
